Forum is a pan-European initiative launched in 2020, aiming to create the European public by providing every day on its platform the most relevant articles on European debates contributed by leading publications. Forum makes all articles accessible by translating them into various European languages. Learn more at

Forum is looking for two creative and very adaptable editors to lead our efforts to make Forum the leading platform for debates on: 

1. Mental Wealth Themes: The future of work, Universal Basic Income, Psychedelics, Drugs, Mental Health, Culture, Spirituality, 

2. Citizens Decoded Themes: Digital Rights, Big Tech,Social Media, Data Privacy, AI, AR, VR, Article 13, E- citizenship, social media and data ownership, 

3. Mars & Venus Themes: geopolitics, European army, European security, peacekeeping, NATO, UN reform, American retreat, China's rise, 

4. Green New Deal Themes: Europe's move to reckon with climate change, ecological innovation, EU's Green Deal, science communication, climate migration, protest culture and intersectionality. 

The Debate Editors are Forum’s representative on the chosen topic, develop fruitful relationships with all respective thought leaders and organisations through networking events, conferences and social media engagement and create high-end content for our platform. 

What are your daily tasks? 

  • Managing the whole debate as a project - from conceptualisation, through execution, to evaluation
  • Providing editorial expertise to generate interesting and topic specific articles to spur debates for Forum
  • Integrating marketing and social media KPIs into the conceptualization
  • Supporting offline/online Member Growth efforts
  • Conceptualising and actively participating in creation of audiovisual content on the specific topic including podcasts, short videos, digital events, etc. 
  • Building a strong network of thought leaders and organizations
  • Representing Forum at conferences and events in Europe, especially in the role of a moderator
  • Positioning Forum as an actively participating media partner of conferences and moderate sessions
  • Working closely with the editorial and member growth teams to engage all relevant stakeholders in a successful implementation of the debate content

What should you bring?

  • At least 2 years of experience in journalism, copywriting, policy, project management, or similar discipline
  • Deep interest and understanding of European debates and politics
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of various audiovisual formats and marketing
  • Experience in moderating debates and connections to thought leaders and organizations on the specific topic are a plus
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills also on the top-tier level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Structured and autonomous way of working
  • Excellent English skills, other European languages are a plus

This is a remote full-time position. The candidates can be based in various locations across Europe. In your application, please indicate which of the above mentioned debates you are interested in and why.
